Schools and groups provided with resources to take part in project
Pollinating insects across the Isle of Man are being offered a helping hand as part of Manx Wildlife Trust's 'Make Space for Nature' campaign.
In a project that blends education with positive action several schools and community groups have been provided with the resources they need to create flower strips to make their grounds more wildlife-friendly.
The flower beds have been sown with a special blend of seeds that's being trialled on the Island to ensure it has maximum benefit to wildlife.
Participating schools will also be given advice and activities to monitor the wildlife that visits.
