Joney Faragher criticises the Council of Ministers as an “impromptu” body formed through a forced process

The leader of the Manx Labour Party has criticised the Council of Ministers, describing it as an “impromptu” form of party politics without real cohesion.

Joney Faragher says the way the executive is "forcibly" created results in a government structure that slows down decision-making.

The Council of Ministers is led by the Chief Minister, who’s chosen by MHKs after each general election.

Ms Faragher thinks the existing system lacks coalescence:
